Family-owned Sungani Lodge occupies the far southern reaches of South Luangwa National Park, the “Valley of the Leopard.” Seven custom, handcrafted tents, set atop elevated decking with private plunge pools, overlook a pristine lagoon favored by wildlife. Days revolve around game drives, walking safaris, and boat cruises along the Luangwa River. Photographic hides are positioned to capture the best snaps; guests can edit their images in the dedicated, professionally equipped studio. The Davy family's hands-on approach extends to homemade bush meals and conservation-focused experiences.
