Fairmont Rio de Janeiro announces the second edition of the Fairmont Rio Golf Weekend
The tournament takes place from April 10th to 14th in shotgun format. Registrants secure participation in the PGA Pro AM, taking place from April 18th to 21st.
More than a sport, golf represents a lifestyle and has been attracting more enthusiasts. In order to provide this experience to those who admire this type of competition, Fairmont Rio de Janeiro announces the second edition of the Fairmont Rio Golf Weekend, which takes place from April 10th to 14th, at the Olympic Golf Course, a legacy of the Olympics in the city.
The event will feature competitions in shotgun format in the male categories (0-15, 16-24, and 25-36) and female (0-18 and 19-36). During the three days of the tournament, professional and amateur competitors will have the opportunity to compete for approximately 50 thousand reais in prizes to experience a Golf Experience at Fairmont hotels around the world. The winner of each category will receive a business class airline ticket and five nights at one of the network's properties, such as Fairmont St Andrews, Fairmont Mayakoba, Fairmont Carton House, and The Savoy, with three rounds of golf. Additionally, those registered in the Fairmont Rio Golf Weekend guarantee participation in the international PGA Pro AM tournament, which takes place immediately afterward in the city, from April 18th to 21st.

The success in the previous year was such that in 2024, the number of supporters increased. Partners include Fairmont Rio de Janeiro Copacabana, Fairmont Mayakoba, Fairmont St Andrews, Carton House, Savoy, Rio Olympic Golf Course, Medrio, American Airlines, TAP Air Portugal, Piquet Realty Portugal, Shopping Leblon, and All Accor, in addition to the Golf Federation of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
The Fairmont Rio Golf Weekend Experience
In addition to the golf tournament, athletes will participate in a three-day schedule with memorable experiences, from impeccable cocktails to the perfect dinner at the Marine restaurant, a reference in national cuisine. They will also have a training day and a welcome luau at the hotel on the day of arrival, as well as shows and a gala dinner, which will award the winners.

About The Event
The first edition of the Fairmont Rio Golf Weekend, in 2023, featured approximately 120 athletes in shotgun format with male and female categories and took place at the Rio Olympic Golf Course.
