  • Extra pillows and blankets are available by request only and not stored in guest rooms

  • Housekeeping services can be declined by guests during stay or staggered, based on guest preference

Hotel Dining

  • Seating capacity reduced at all restaurants, bars and lounges to allow for minimum of six feet between each seated group/party of guests.
  • Menus placed on table prior to guests being seated to minimize contact
  • Frequent hand washing and sanitation required by all associates
  • Food preparation protocols strictly enforced, including gloves to be worn at all times when preparing food and contactless methods when being transferred to other associates

Let me say that if I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would. From the minute we got out of the Uber upon arrival my family and I were treated amazingly well. All employees were very professional and courteous. We had two connecting rooms during our stay. Traveled with wife and two children ages 10 and 7. My daughter turned 10 while at the hotel and they provided a beautiful cupcake for her birthday and cookies for her brother so he wouldn't feel left out. The attention to detail from the rooms, housekeeping and staff is impeccable. Although the pool (salt water) and area itself is small due to the location and confines of the hotel it definitely served our purposes and the space was used creatively. We had no issues during our stay. The only thing I would mention for those travelling with children is do not plan to use the pool on Sunday as it is a bit of a scene, but that is hardly a complaint. Had my wife and I been travelling alone we would have been down there too!

Staying at the Pendry was a wonderful experience. Everyone on the staff was super friendly and accommodating, especially Justin the concierge. Rooms were cleanly and the restaurants were fantastic. Highly recommend the spa. The only negative I have is that they were painting the hallway on the floor we were staying at so it was a bit inconvenient.

Everything in this hotel is very nice. Staff is courteous, friendly and fast! My only disappointment was that I booked a suite with good view and a tub, when I checked in they told me there is only 6 suites with a tub and they had already checked them in. I recommend to check in early if your looking to get a tub.

I think the Pendry is the best place downtown but there’s not a lot there. All was fine, breakfast was OK, service was very friendly, but for whatever reason I just thought that the place was ho-hum compared to other five star hotels around the country that we have stayed at. That said, we did visit A famous alleged luxury hotel in Coronado and I am very glad we did not stay there. Construction on going and a very tired look. Very tired. IMO of course.

Pendry was in a perfect setting for getting a feel for city life. Several high quality restaurants with in the hotel. Our room was comfortable, well maintained and classy. The room service staff and delivery service was particularly impressive. We had a great time in San Diego and the hotel was a large aspect to our fun trip.

My stay at The Pendry was truly extraordinary! The Pendry has it all! My hotel room was perfectly appointed. The restaurants at The Pendry totally exceeded my expectations! Best breakfasts that i have ever had at any hotel! But I must say that the most amazing aspect of The Pendry that sets it apart from other hotels that I have visited was the staff! Every single member of the staff that i dealt with could not have been better! The most friendly and accommodating staff i have had the pleasure of meeting and working with at any hotel! I can without reservation highly recommend The Pendry

Just OK. Not at all what was expected as described by Virtuoso. An older hotel that has seen better days. Emphasis seems to be on the restaurants and lounges. Our room was on the 11th floor. Very outdated and poorly remodelled. Why recommend it when some excellent hotels are not far away on the waterfront. ?
