Stay Where the World Can't Find You - Lake Kora's trademark. More important now than ever as we experience this virus crisis.
Set amid the spectacular Adirondacks State Park, this legendary Great Camp on 1,000 private acres is a true wilderness retreat. For those seeking a peaceful environment with its own 500 acre lake, the guest experience pays tribute to its 125 year heritage with log lodging and boathouses of architecturally significance. The log cabin structures remains quite similar to their original creation as a summer refuse from urban life during the Gilded Age.
Once a playground for America's aristocracy, a visit to Lake Kora was a highly regarded, welcomed invitation. With only four owners during its long tenure, the current owner purchased the compound in 2005 but has only allowed guest usage since 2015 on a peak season basis during summer and early fall. The property may only be reserved by exclusive booking during July thru mid- October, thus primary months to enjoy mother nature at this desirable compound. (12 bedrooms/24 guests maximum)
It is an inclusive estate, therefore, all food and non-alcoholic beverages are customized and included in the nightly $19,980 rate. For an additional fee, wine, beer and spirits can be selected from our curated list or we can order from a local vendor. Guests also have the luxury of providing their own libations, wherein a corkage charge would be applied.
Located in the pristine Blue Lake Mountains of Upstate New York, it is approximately 1 1/2 hours from the Adirondack Regional Airport in Lake Saranac, 2 l/2 hours from Albany and Syracuse or 5 l/2 hours drive from Boston and New York City. Guest may also chose to discreetly arrive directly on property by seaplane or helicopter for security or convenience purposes.
Thru the decades, precious memories have been created at this sacred place of dramatic natural beauty. Many families and friends have made it a tradition as their favorite summer gathering and now executives can consider it for early fall corporate retreats.
