Lodge Kings

Tamarac, St Regis and Hearthside are located on the third floor of the Main Lodge. Quiet, private and very, very comfortable, each room is individually decorated, yet all feature a hand-made, king sized feather bed, wood-burning stone fireplace, and a private balcony that overlooks the lake and mountains. The king rooms have wonderful bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and rainfall showers. As with all of our Lake Placid Lodge accommodations, Tamarack, St Regis and Hearthside reflect the rustic elegance of the Adirondacks with rich fabrics, hand-crafted furnishings and dramatic views.

Treetop

Treetop is a stunning suite on the top floor of the Main Lodge. True to its name, Treetop is a luxurious hideaway that seems to balance high in the pines. Windows wrap around the suite, inviting stunning views of the forest, lake and mountains inside. French doors open to a private covered balcony and a trio of Adirondack chairs. An extraordinary hand-made, twig-thatched king sized bed seems to grow from the floor, and faces a group of armchairs as well as the impressive wood-burning fireplace. A cathedral ceiling arcs over the space, and diamond-paned windows are set like jewels in the walls. This unique suite also features a hexagonal, bead board bathroom with a deep soaking tub for two and a separate shower.

Whiteface

Whiteface is a grand and magnificent guest suite at the top of the Main Lodge. Featuring tall windows and a long, private covered balcony, the suite looks far out over the lake to the woods, mountains and sky beyond. Inside, an enormous, hand-carved king bed faces the stone fireplace and a comfortable sitting area. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, marble sink and separate dressing room. A diamond-paned window over the deep soaking tub frames the trees outside.

1 Bedroom Suite Overlooking Lake Placid

The lakeside one bedroom suites at Lake Placid Lodge are individually designed, romantic and lavishly appointed. Each showcases a gorgeous living room with a double-sided, wood-burning fireplace, as well as a separate bedroom with king bed, and a covered balcony with breathtaking views of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain. The bathrooms feature deep soaking tubs, separate showers and double sinks. The Lakeside Building is conveniently located just steps from the Main Lodge, the lake and our nightly bonfire. Unique among Lake Placid Hotels, Lodge guests also have the option of reserving the entire building, including all six suites, for a special event or corporate retreat.

Lakeview Cabins

The Lodge's Lakeview Cabins were individually decorated by different Adirondack craftsmen, giving each one a unique spirit and personality. They are beautifully set just behind the Lakefront Cabins, and only steps from the water.

Lakefront Cabins

Each Lakefront Cabin feels like a private home in the woods, thick-walled and fire-lit. Huge picture windows frame the lake, sunlight dances on the ceilings, and porches and terraces are edged with trees. All of our Lakefront Cabins also feature splendid bathrooms, where twigs curve over soaking tubs and glass doors open to walk-in showers.

Two Bedroom Cabins

The Lodge's spacious and welcoming Two Bedroom Cabins can sleep up to four people each. One bedroom features a king bed, while the other either a king or two twin beds. Each bedroom also has its own bathroom with a soaking tub and a separate shower. The shared living room boasts ample seating space as well as a wood-burning stone fireplace.

Owl's Head Cabin

Owl's Head is our most sumptuous, romantic and secluded cabin. This spacious one-room suite is set at the end of the covered walkway, on the very edge of the lake. Inside, is a hand-built king feather bed, a two-person jetted tub, dry sauna and a steam shower. A large stone fireplace is kept well-stocked with logs. Guests will also appreciate the stunning views, which showcase the marvelous spectacle of wilderness and water.

Buck Two Bedroom

Our most sought-after cabin, Buck is set at the very edge of the water and features two beautifully-appointed bedrooms. The first bedroom boasts a king bed, while the other offers a choice of a king or two twin beds. Buck also features two private baths, each with deep soaking tub and separate shower. The living room offers a cozy setting to relax after a fruitful day of exploring, complete with a wood-burning stone fireplace.

Birch

Birch features a king bed with a comfortable sitting area in front of a huge, stone, wood-burning fireplace. This unique lodging in Lake Placid, NY features two bathrooms, one with a deep soaking tub and the other with a double-headed shower, as well as a spacious walk-in closet. Just outside, a log-railed front porch is shaded by a canopy of trees and outfitted with a swing for two.

Pine.

Pine has a king featherbed and a welcoming sitting area in front of the wood-burning fireplace. The bathroom features a long, deep tub and a wheelchair-accessible shower. Adirondack chairs on Pine's private porch look out through the trees to a gorgeous panorama of the Main Lodge, the rolling lawn and the wide blue lake.

Guaranteed Reservations & Deposits

A $100 deposit is required upon reservation. All remaining room costs will be charged in full 30 days prior to your arrival. After your deposit has been received, we will send a confirmation letter, as well as directions and useful information.

Cancellation Policy

Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. If a cancellation is made 30 days or longer prior to your arrival date your $100 deposit will be forfeited. If your cancellation is made fewer than 30 days prior to your arrival date, the entire stay will be forfeited. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed dates, you will be responsible for all of the original room nights reserved.
