Seine Beauty

About Halfway Between Paris And Rouen

Vernon is in the Haute-Normandie region of northern France, along the Seine; it was first mentioned historically way back in 750 AD by Pepin the Short (the father of Charlemagne). The Musee de Vernon has several quality Monet paintings, and the Le Vieux Moulin de Vernon is a beautiful bridge walk. Many Virtuoso river cruises stop here; have a camera ready.
