Park It Here

Protected Lands, Unspoiled Sands, and Superb Snorkeling

With about 60 percent of the isle preserved as national park, much of St. John’s hilly interior is covered in lush jungle, and some beaches remain nearly deserted. Explore the Trunk Bay snorkeling trail, visit 18th century sugar mill ruins, hike in shady forests and along sandy white shores, and marvel at strange coral sculptures at remote Drunk Bay. Those who crave action will find plenty at Cruz Bay’s restaurants, beach bars, and boutiques.
