It seems every island promises its visitors they’ll feel “thousands of miles away”, but few deliver like St. Helena, Ascension and Tristan Da Cunha. The South Atlantic archipelago lies almost exactly halfway between South America and Africa, rendering its islands some of the most remote in the world.
