DAY 1
17 Mar 2019
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

Before you embark on a South American voyage of a lifetime, spend some time in a city famous for its dramatic landscapes and feather-festooned Carnaval—Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to your hotel and spend the remainder of your day exploring at your leisure. But don't stay out too late: You have a big day ahead of you.

DAY 2
18 Mar 2019
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil
Air travel
Iguazu Falls, Argentina

Have breakfast at your hotel with fellow adventurers before making your way to the domestic airport for a 90-minute flight (approximately) to Iguazu Falls. Upon arrival, you'll be escorted to Argentina's Iguazu Falls National Park, where your local guide will take you over a mile of catwalks that surround the upper falls—and in some cases, allow you to stand right on the edge and overlook the Paraná River below. Then, board the park train for a journey to Devil's Throat, where a thrilling speedboat trip brings you up close (and wet) with the most impressive falls in the park. Return to your hotel to recharge with a delicious dinner and a restful sleep.

DAY 3
19 Mar 2019
Iguazu Falls, Argentina

After breakfast, you'll journey to Yryapu Rainforest and the village of Jasy Pora Guarani—home to the Guarani people. Visit with children at the local school and go into the heart of the rainforest with a tribal elder. Learn about the indigenous wildlife and fauna, customs and traditions, and how they have maintained their self-sustainability. Head back to the village for lunch with the local families, and be treated to a special children's choir presentation, before returning to your Iguazu Falls hotel. Lunch will be at a local restaurant and dinner at the Aqva restaurant.

DAY 4

Have breakfast and take advantage of a little downtime to explore your resort amenities or the surrounding area. Then, your local guide will show you Iguazu Falls from a completely different viewpoint—this time, from across the river on the Brazilian side. Enjoy a leisurely walk that unveils a new perspective of the thundering water with each step you take. After, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Rio de Janeiro, where, upon arrival, you'll depart for the port and the next leg of your journey aboard the Azamara Pursuit.
