Whistler And Shannon Falls Tour
You will be whisked away to a mountain paradise via the breathtaking Sea-To-Sky Highway. Along the way, stops will be made to enjoy the view and may include locations such as Porteau Cove, Britannia Beach, Brandywine Falls, and, of course, Shannon Falls.

Shannon Falls is composed of a series of cliffs rising to almost 1,100 feet. A boardwalk leads to a viewing platform near the base of the roaring falls. From here you can gaze up the smooth sides of the granite walls over which the falls foam and tumble.

The next stop for your day is the quaint village of Whistler. In 2010, countries from across the globe competed in the Mountain Sports of the Winter Olympics here. The resort of Whistler was, in fact, born on an Olympic dream. Franz Wilhelmsen, the man who opened Whistler for skiing in the 1960s, did so in the hopes of hosting the Games here.

Today, Whistler has become more of a cosmopolitan village that provides an endless choice of intriguing galleries, delicious eateries, and, of course, an abundance of shops. There will be plenty of time for a nature hike by the lake or a short bike ride on a nearby trail. For the truly adventurous, a gondola ride to the top of Whistler Mountain is a must. The views from the top are spectacular.

By late afternoon, you'll be sad to leave this picturesque place. If you weren't overwhelmed by the beautiful views on the way to Whistler, the panorama of sights you'll experience overlooking Howe Sound on the ride back to Vancouver definitely will impress you.

Special instructions:
- Food, beverages, and the gondola ride are not included in the price of this tour.

- You will be accompanied on a 20-minute walk to the base of Shannon Falls. In Whistler, your tour guide can recommend a nearby trail.

Vancouver Whale Watch
On this tour, you'll get out and see some of the interesting areas south of the city. A 45-minute ride to Steveston Harbour will give you that opportunity. Upon arrival, you'll find experts in the fields of science and research who will take you out on the water. Depending on the season you have the choice of going out on an open or semi-covered zodiac style vessel.

This company uses the best equipment for this three-to five-hour trip. The length depends on sightings, as they always want to make this a success for their passengers. They will literally go the extra mile to find these sea creatures for you.

The most exciting part is finding the pod of Orcas and Humpback whales who are usually spotted feeding on salmon in the Fraser River system. You should also be successful in spotting some bow-riding Dall's porpoises, sea lions, bald eagles, seals, and more.

In the early spring, your focus will be on sea lions, seals, eagles, cormorants, herons, and other wildlife.

Pre-Cruise Grouse Mountain & Capilano Bridge Tour With Transfer To Cruise Pier
The North Shore has much to see. We'll take you to two of the most interesting sights and give you time to soak it all in.

We'll start your tour from your hotel and drive through Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate Bridge enroute to the North Shore Mountain playground.

Your first stop will be the exploration of the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, which stretches 230 feet above Capilano River. Be sure and check out the new Treetops Adventure, the first venue of its kind in North America, offering a squirrel's eye view of the thriving coastal forest. You'll venture from one magnificent Douglas fir tree to another on a series of elevated suspension bridges, some reaching as high as 100 feet above the forest floor. Also, at the 27-acre park, we'll stop to visit traditional native totem pole carvers and their large display of poles and crafts, take a few minutes to walk through and admire the impressive Living Forest exhibit, and make a stop at the wonderful gift shop filled with a unique collection of souvenirs.

High above the towering trees, you'll take in breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, the sparkling Pacific Ocean, the Gulf Islands, and nearby mountain peaks. Fishing Charter In Vancouver's Protected Waters
You will be in a terrific location when you board your boat--and the boat itself is brand-new and fully equipped with the latest equipment and technology.

The captain of the boat is young, enthusiastic, and helpful. He wants you to experience the best fishing in British Columbia and will give you all the tools and equipment necessary to do so, including Salmon Slayer Specialty Rigs that are "guide-tied" with care and knowledge, increasing your success when in pursuit of Pacific Salmon. Many visitors take these special rigs back to use in their local waters.

Salmon fishing remains good in the Vancouver area and the short run to the fishing grounds only takes 15-20 minutes before you drop your lines! This has been a solid winter-to-spring transition, as fishing has produced steady action with many winter Chinook being caught, some weighing in at 18-20 lbs.

We fish at depths of 80 to 180 feet (close to the bottom) with bait or spoons. Successful anglers have been fishing close to the bottom and quite deep, off of the downrigger.

Grouse Mountain And Capilano Suspension Bridge Tour
The North Shore has much to see. We'll take you to two of the most interesting sights and give you time to soak it all in.

We'll start your tour from the pier and drive through Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate Bridge enroute to the North Shore Mountain playground.

Our first stop will be the Capilano Salmon Hatchery. This is a beautiful river forest setting where you'll be able to watch salmon as they return up river to spawn. Sometimes there will be a bear fishing in the river a few feet from your observation point.

Ready for something really spectacular? We'll explore the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, which stretches 230 feet above Capilano River.

Next, we'll venture up to Grouse Mountain! Step aboard the Skyride and get ready to experience a one-mile journey to the Peak of Vancouver. High above the towering trees, you'll take in breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, the sparkling Pacific Ocean, the Gulf Islands, and nearby mountain peaks. You'll have ample time to grab something to eat, catch the humorous Lumberjack Show, watch a Birds in Motion Demonstration, or observe a grizzly bear in the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife atop Grouse Mountain.

After an adventure-filled day, enjoy the descent off the mountain and a leisurely ride back into the city for drop-off at your hotel.

Sea To Sky Corridor Adventure From Hotel
Vancouver is often considered one of the greatest Canadian destinations and the list of reasons doesn't stop at the city limits. With a pick up at the pier we will take you out of the city life and into Vancouver's rugged wilderness. There is no reason for your time in nature to end just because you've left Alaskan waters.

Horseshoe Bay will be your first stop as you enter the beautiful Howe Sound. This ocean-side town serves as a top hub for British Columbia ferries and provides the perfect point of transport for many of the nearby islands. From here you will follow the coastal Sea to Sky highway on your way to the famous Shannon Falls. At 335 meters in height these falls stand as the 3rd highest in British Columbia and provide a perfect example of natural beauty along the Pacific coast. If you stare up at Shannon Falls too long you will get a neck ache, so hop onto the Sea to Sky Gondola as we take you straight to the top! Enjoy some free time to explore the looped trails, viewing platforms and a 165 foot suspension bridge.

On the way back to Vancouver we'll bring you to the award winning Britannia Mine Museum. Here you will learn about the history of the Britannia Mine which between 1904 and 1974 served as one of the largest copper mines in Canada's history. The most memorable part of this tour will be your underground ride on board a mine train into an early haulage tunnel. With a hard hat in tow your guide will explain life in the mines with the use of authentic drills and a mucking machine.

That fresh Vancouver air will stay in your lungs well past your drop off at your Vancouver area hotel!
