Experience the wonders of Prague and its historic city center that is a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. On your tour, you'll see Rudolfinum, National Museum, Wenceslas Square, and the Dancing House. Visit the 1,000-year-old Prague Castle and St. Vitus before walking over the romantic Charles Bridge to the Old Town Square. (B)

Depart Prague and drive through the pastoral German countryside for a city tour of Nuremberg's fabulous Gothic churches and impressive city walls. Later in the day, board your luxurious ship. (B,D)

Schweinfurt, Germany

Discover enchanting Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your guided walking tour includes the Imperial Cathedral and the charming fishermen's village known as "Little Venice" as well as tasting the city's famous smoked beer, Rauchbier. (B,L,D)

Kitzingen, Germany
Würzburg, Germany

Explore Kitzingen, Franconia's wine trade center, with a city tour. Later, the Aulic (wine) Council and Wine Queen will welcome you with a special five-wine tasting in one of Germany's oldest wine cellars. During the afternoon, you have a choice of two excursions. Join a guided bike ride from Kitzingen to Würzburg along the Main River and "Romantic Road", or take a walking tour through Würzburg and then visit its Residenz. The 300-room palace took nearly 60 years to complete and contains the world's largest ceiling fresco, created by Venetian painter Tiepolo, as well as one of the most beautiful staircases in the world. Wertheim, Germany

Wertheim's old town center still features half-timbered houses and the Gothic architecture of the Stiftskirche, its oldest Protestant church. You may either join a guided walking tour through the historic city center or learn the art of pretzel making with a visit to a local bakery. For those seeking a more active adventure, take a scenic bike ride through the Main River Valley or hike high above the town for a visit to the castle, one of the most picturesque ruins in Germany. Rüdesheim am Rhein, Germany
Koblenz, Germany

Arrive in Mainz, located at the confluence of the Main and Rhine rivers, where you have a choice of three excursions. Join a walking tour of Mainz, home to many historic treasures, including one of Germany's most important churches, the Romanesque cathedral and the Chagall stained-glass windows depicting scriptural scenes in stunning blue, which you will get to see. Alternatively, visit Heidelberg, Germany's oldest university town, where you will tour the Old Town and visit the red-walled castle with its Great Vat. For a more active adventure, cycle along the Rhine River to Rüdesheim. During the afternoon, you can participate in one of three excursions while in Rüdesheim. Visit Siegfried's Mechanical Music Museum, home to one of the greatest collections of self-playing musical instruments; take a ride over the vineyards of Rüdesheim in a gondola to the Niederwald Monument; or go on a hike through the vineyards. Later in the day, set sail towards Koblenz through the Rhine River Gorge, famous for its beautiful and imposing castles and legendary Lorelei Rock. After dinner, join a tour of Koblenz to explore its romantic narrow streets, historic squares, and 12th-century churches. (B,L,D)

Wake up in fairytale Cochem and visit the Reichsburg Castle followed by a walking tour. As an alternative, visit one of Europe's oldest working mustard mills where you will sample Cochem's famous mustard. You may also opt to take a guided bike tour along the captivating Moselle River. Later cruise to Zell, famous for their Riesling and the well-known arched black cat icon, often seen on the labels of local German wines. Experience the hospitality of the citizens of Zell, including the local Wine Queen and Mayor, at an exclusive wine festival where you'll sample local wines, sausages, and more. (B,L,D)

Trier, Germany

Enjoy a scenic cruise along the Moselle to Trier, Germany's oldest city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its rich ancient Roman past. Join a guided tour of the city, including the old Roman amphitheater, Roman Baths, Basilica of Constantine, and the Porta Nigra, a gate that dates back to 180 A.D. Alternatively, you can join a tour to discover the Secrets of the Porta Nigra; or go on a hike to Trier's amphitheater where gladiators once held contests. (B,L,D)

Luxembourg, Luxembourg
Paris, France

Disembark and travel to Luxembourg. You will stop at the American Cemetery and Memorial, the final resting place of General George Patton. Later, you will enjoy a walking tour through Luxembourg before boarding a TGV high-speed train to Paris, where you will check into your hotel. (B)

Get acquainted with some of the many iconic sites in the "City of Light", including Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower on a city tour. (B)

Explore Paris how you wish: visit its famed landmarks, wander through one of its priceless museums, linger in one of the city's many cafés, or shop on the Boulevard Haussmann. (B)

Brochure prices are per-person, U.S. dollars, based on double occupancy of a cabin, or standard hotel room, unless indicated otherwise. | Single rates are available for the cruise-only, at a supplement of plus-50% for standard rooms, plus-100% for other rooms, such as deluxe rooms and suites. | Single rates for land are available at a supplement. | Please see individual itineraries for amount of the supplement. | Pricing accuracy is assured only at time of printing. | If any of the cost factors increases, such as airfare, port or dock charges, fuel, insurance, taxes, surcharges or other, we reserve the right to increase cruise or cruise tour prices without notice.

Cancellation Policy: For any cruise/land booking, whether under deposit, partially paid, or paid in full, including air packages, the following travel agent or guest-requested situations are considered cancellations and penalties will apply as noted below: changes to departure date; substitutions of itinerary; substitution of another person for original booked guest(s); or changing to a promotional fare. All cancellations must be in writing. For all air-inclusive packages cancelled after issuance of an airline ticket, the air portion of the refund, if any, will be processed only after the return of airline ticket. The following cancellation charges will be assessed for all written cancellations received prior to departure up to the scheduled time of departure.

Cancellation received | Following charges will apply: (Broken out by days before departure) 121 days or more is $200 per person | 120-90 days is $400 per person | 89-60 days is 35% of full fare | 59-30 days is 50% of full fare | 29-7 days is 80% of full fare | 6 days prior to sailing is 100% cancellation. Full Fare is defined as the full cost of any cruise, land or air component purchased from AmaWaterways. All air purchased through AmaWaterways has a cancellation penalty of $350 per person for Economy and $600 per person for Business class. In the event you purchase a non-refundable ticket, the full fare is under penalty.

*Certain airline tickets, including all intra-Asia Flights within 90 days of departure and published price tickets, are 100% non-refundable. Penalty rates shown are for flight arrangements deposited/booked from July 1, 2014 onward. Except as otherwise provided in your Passenger Ticket Contract, after travel begins, there is no refund for unused services, or unused portions of cruise, cruise/tour or airfare.
