What I Pack

“I want my 10-year-old daughter to know there’s a big world outside of her stomping grounds,” says Lauren Renfrow. The Dallas-based owner of Times Two Design, a home decor company, also travels for creative inspiration. Whether on a London-and-Cotswolds jaunt for her mother’s 70th birthday or a ski weekend in Park City with friends during Sundance, Renfrow packs a carry-on. “I can’t stand toting a monster bag,” she says. She entrusts Virtuoso travel advisor Lila Fox of New Orleans to handle every detail: “Her taste is impeccable, and her spirit of adventure is contagious. From arranging a car service or tour guide to an extra welcome at the hotel, Lila makes traveling an absolute breeze.”

I DON’T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT:
1. Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel pads for looking refreshed.

2. A Diane von Furstenberg  woven cashmere scarf for the plane – and as a complement for travel outfits.

3. A Moleskine soft-cover journal to jot down ideas that pop into my mind.

4. My small, lightweight Chanel Wallet on a Chain keeps my essentials organized with just enough space for my phone.

5. Perky Jerky, in the turkey Sweet & Snappy flavor, for refueling.
