Claire Canady

Claire Canady's fascination with the travel industry ignited at the age of 12, inspired by her cousin's career as an airline stewardess. Hailing from England, Claire pursued her passion at Bournemouth University, earning a diploma in Travel and Tourism. Her journey in the industry commenced with Exchange Travel, a prominent agency specializing in Cyprus, Malta, and Gibraltar.

Relocating to Raleigh, NC, due to her husband's job, Claire embarked on a new chapter, starting a family. After obtaining her green card, she reentered the travel industry, working the late shift at a Sheraton reservations center. Subsequently, she spent five years as a corporate agent before being entrusted with the task of opening and managing a new leisure office for ITG.

Opting for the independent contractor path after several years, Claire became one of the initial outside independent agents at Travel Experts. Following a fruitful five-year stint as an independent contractor, she returned to the office as a Travel Experts employee. Currently serving as the NC Director of Operations, based at the Raleigh NC headquarters, Claire brings a unique perspective, having experienced both the independent contractor and employee roles.

With a team supporting over 450 advisors nationwide, predominantly working from home, Claire and her team offer Sabre and sales support, along with training. Their goal is to provide advisors at various levels with the expertise and reassurance that help is just a phone call away.
