Carol Asivido, CTA has been in the travel industry for over 25 years, with 20 years at Yorba Linda Travel, a member of the World Travel family. Carol is a native born Californian, and started traveling at a young age with her family, traveling throughout the United States. She became passionate about traveling and wanted to discover all the world has to offer. Carol is very active in working with special animal groups, raising money and finding these animals their forever homes! Her interest in animals, nature and people, has taken Carol to many different parts of the world, Tahiti, Hawaii, Canada, Europe, Egypt and Alaska, where she experienced their habitats and customs. Carol is hoping her next adventures will take her to Africa, Galapagos, Antarctica and other remote areas of the world where she can fulfill her passion for animals, nature and people through her travels.
Carol believes in providing the best customer service possible. She can arrange all her client’s needs and makes sure every detail of their trip is in place. Her main goal is to create memories that will last a lifetime for her clients and fulfilling their dreams is her number one priority. Carol can assist with many types of travel – leisure, tours, families, cruises, honeymoon and groups. Carol looks forward to her new adventures where she can interact with animals, nature and people, and sharing these wonderful experiences with others, especially with her clients.

Carol has been our travel agent for the past three years, coincident with the day I retired. She has planned several excursions for us, all of which have been excellent. She pays meticulous attention to detail and follows up closely to ensure there are no hidden problems. When you book with Carol, rest assured that all the pre-planning has been done and think ahead to a great vacation.

Carol was so helpful. Great communication. Found exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. She kept in constant communication so I always felt like I was in the loop. She always checked in to make sure that she was getting exactly what we wanted. I would recommend her highly.

As always, Carol planned a bullet proof trip, which included flights and suggestions on about everything else we were planning to do on Kona. She is meticulous in her attention to detail, knowing that it's the little things that could cause large problems if missed...........way to go!

We just returned from our second trip booked by Carol. We knew exactly what we wanted, therefore Carol did not have many details to take care of. The trip was an experiment for us to determine if health wise I was ready for long journeys again, after recovering somewhat from some serious issues. The destination resort we chose had everything we needed and we didn't need Carol to book local activities due to the circumstances. She was very concerned that we be centrally located to make movement around the resort easy. Perhaps she was a little too diligent because we found ourselves in an undesirable location with too much through traffic, behind the main restaurant and family/children's pool. The resort moved us promptly to an adult area great for recuperating seniors. What I appreciate most about Carol is her attention to handling all the booking details and keeping us on schedule throughout the booking/ payment process.

Every day was a new adventure, and because of the careful planning, we felt we saw and experienced all we could for a first trip to New York. What continues to amaze me is the organization and ease Carol demonstrates, taking all my ideas and making them happen. Hotels in New York can be very confusing. We felt safe and walked the streets freely from our hotel day and night to most of the activities we planned. We are still talking about our adventures with friends, and can't wait to plan the next one, with Carol's assistance of course.

Carol helped to book our honeymoon trip to cancun. We originally wanted to go to Europe for our honeymoon in November, but she suggested that we go to cancun instead because the weather in Europe would be bad during that time. In Cancun it only rained 1 full day, and the other days were mostly sunny/cloudy. Also we booked a tour through her and although I there wasn't clarification on the exact date, she helped to sort out the confusion through email. The hotel was excellent and suited for honeymooners like us so overall it was an amazing trip. Thanks Carol!

Went very smoothly and on time. The driver picked us up from the hotel lobby and explained the sights on our drive out. After the tour he offered to drop us off anywhere in Paris if we didn't want to go to our hotel.

We had a wonderful trip to Scotland and Ireland. The hotel in Scotland was in a wonderful location. The room was very small but the restaurant was good and service very good. I would rate Globus tours on a high scale. Our tour director was knowledgeable and helpful. The bus driver was efficient. We saw so much in just a week. Only thing that would have made the trip a little more enjoyable would have been to have a little more free time and the temperature on the bus not so cold. Carol did a great job in booking our flights and tour plans. She was a good communicator. For any trip in the future, I will certainly work with Carol.

Globus Ireland Excursion

Globus did a marvelous job on this tour. Will Collins is a terrific tour director, knowledgable, helpful, freindly and entertaining. Our bus driver, Anton was great. The attractions were interesting and spaced far enough apart so that we didn't feel hurried. My favorite was the Rathbaun Farm. The tea service provided was absolutely delicious and the lady of the house and her helpers so very friendly. Enjoyed the National Stud also. Hotels were varied. Some were very nice and some not quite so nice. The staff is all the hotels were helpful and friendly. I would heartily recommend this tour to others. Many of the people in the group had been on other Globus tours and spoke very highly of the quality of the experiences.

I've used Carol's services now for quite a few trips - from a Safari, to an expedition in Antarctica, to a large family trip to Disney, and a bunch of other travel and hotel stays in between. She is simply SUPERB! Her follow-up and communication skills are exemplary - with no question too big or too small. She takes care of everything, and never loses track of the details. If you've got an upcoming trip that you need some help with - you won't find a better agent than Carol. And that statement comes from someone (me!) who has traveled the world and previously dealt with my fair share of agents, both in the US and while living abroad. Carol is at the top of her game!
