Roxana Lewis
I am a veteran travel consultant who has spent the past 31 years tramping the backroads of Italy. My other specialty is Zen Japan where I have lead 6 climbs of Mt. Fuji.
I am a mountaineer and marathoner. Mountains climbed: Denali, Rainier, Shasta, Mauna Kea, Mauna Loa, Whitney, Popocatepetl, Iztaccihuatl, Cotopaxi, Tungurajua, Huascaran, Pisco, Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Hood, Baker, Mt.Fuji, etc. I have climbed all 50-State highpoints. Marathons run: one in every U.S. State (4-circuits completed); 23 Italian marathons, 17 Japanese marathons for a current overall total of 367 marathons.
Among my sybaritic pursuits, I collect Michelin Restaurant dining experiences worldwide. Italian Oenophile. Special passion for sparkling wine. An avid reader: my current favorite, Robert MacFarlane. I sketch, write and tap dance without self-criticism.
For the good of others: Sierra Club volunteer hike leader. Docent Japanese American National Museum. Advisory Council member Pacific Asian Counseling Service. Meals-On-Wheels Senior Service.
