Lynn Hayes

During my 40 years in the travel industry I have both owned and managed travel agencies in Arkansas, Texas and South Carolina; earned the endorsement of Certified Travel Counselor; and have served as chairman of The Association of Retail Travel Agents for five years (I am currently serving as secretary). Travel Agent Magazine recognized me as one of the "most influential women in travel" for three years.

Being in the travel industry has given me the wonderful opportunity to travel around the world. I’ve visited 153 countries, including exotic places such as the Amazon Rainforest, Easter Island, Malaysia, China, Fiji, and exciting countries like Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa. I have taken over 60 cruises including river cruises on the Amazon headwaters in Peru, the lower Amazon in Brazil and the Seine and Saone in France, the Mekong in Cambodia and Vietnam, Rhine and Danube all the way to the Black Sea.
