At 8 years old I saw the movie, “Around the World in 80Days. At intermission I told my parents I wanted to take that trip! At 16 I spent my summer studying in St Malo, France. When I returned, I told my parents I wanted to live there. At 19 I went on a college “spring break” trip with 5 friends.When we checked into the hotel, I managed to get us upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. I told my parents when we got home. At 21 I accepted a job at “Radio Free Europe” but decided to get married instead! This time I told my parentsbefore I made the decision!

And now, since 1972 I have worked at Provident Travel.Provident is a founding member of Virtuoso which means I have been arranging custom travel, cruises, and tours since my very first day. Before email,sending letters ononionskin airmail paper to the most charming little French Relais and Chateaux quickly became my specialty!

I describe myself as a “client specialist”. I provide everything you ask for and anticipate what you don't! I have clients all over the world and I am now on my 3rd generation of clients!

I have the advantage of knowing that I can count on the Virtuoso network to complete the circle of travelfor clients. I have established close personal relationships around the world with cruise suppliers, hotels, and management teams. My depth of travel knowledge, both in planning and research, as well as broad local destination knowledge serves my clients well.

I am honored to represent the North Central Region of the Virtuoso Network on the Virtuoso Cruise Committee. I have also been priveledged to sit on several hotel PREVIEW Committees.
