Carol Minker

I attended UT Austin and graduated with a degree in elementary education. I taught school for 3 years in Washington DC. The organizational skills I learned as a teacher helped me in my travel career. I have had a lifetime love for travel and I have visited many countries worldwide. As our kids were growing up, I decided I would work in an area I loved. Organizing trips and encouraging others to share my travel experiences are reasons I love my job.

Selecting a favorite trip is difficult. I found trips to Australia and New Zealand exhilarating! I have taken groups to Canyon Ranch Spa in Arizona for 28 straight years. Two different trips to Africa, (East & South Africa) were both amazing! I went expecting to consider the animals the highlight of our trip, but both times, it was meeting the humble and proud people along the way that has had lasting memories.

The favorite part of my job is when I make my clients happy with upgrades, personal recognition when my clients go to a Virtuoso hotel, and hearing about their experience when they come home from a vacation.
