I am Ralph Iantosca, I cater to the serious traveler, not the tourist. My 3 favorite ingredients when designing a trip are to be sure the trip is Authentic, Innovative and most of all Memorable.
I entered the travel industry in 1990 and have never found anything else more exciting. My career started with the International Travel academy in Vancouver, then with Alaska airlines subsidiary Horizon Air. From 1993-1998 worked for AAA Travel, 1998-2005 American Express Travel. I went independent in 2006. I have credentials from the Travel Institute; CTA (Certified Travel Associate; LS- Lifestyle Specialist; DS- Destination Specialist. Accolades I’ve won over the years, 2003, 2004 A-list by Travel and Leisure magazine for top agents in the Nation, D-Magazine top honeymoon specialist 2005. Virtuoso Member 2010 until today. Conde Nast Traveler Top travel specialist (Rwanda, Gorilla Trekking) for 2020, 2021 and 2022. Iantosca Travel is a proud affiliate with Travel Experts, one of the largest agencies in the prestigious invitation only Virtuoso Network.
World Traveler: I’ve been around the globe many times, multiple expeditions to Antarctica, African Safari Specialist for over twenty years, Gorilla Trekking Specialist (I have been many times) Galapagos specialist, and expedition specialist. Adventure lodges, trekking, Heli hiking and more. I am a certified Virtuoso Wanderlist advisor. (Management of your bucket list). Not only do I specialize in Active and Adventure travel, I also have knowledge in private jet expeditions, bespoke private guided itineraries worldwide and love to take my clients behind the scenes with insider access others would only dream of. I love to custom tailor itineraries, use a private airplane from place to place if the scenic drive is too long or not worth it. My portfolio consists of very luxurious Villas, Homes, small boutique hotels, large hotel suites, incredible destinations that are very difficult to get to. I like to provide private planeside meet and greet to skip lines with custom formalities, saving time and aggravation both arriving and departing internationally.
I personally love train travel. I have traveled aboard the Venice Simplon Orient Express, Royal Scotsman, Hiram Bingham and work very close with the luxury trains around the globe. I believe that traveling is a luxury, not a commodity. Travel is about new experiences, cultures, foods, scenery and so many more things. Travel is to be cherished and enjoyed with those you love. I believe travel is the only thing that will make you richer. In over 30 plus years I have always worked very hard for each client, putting their needs first.
How I work: let’s set up an interview to see if my exclusive portfolio of destinations and products is what you are looking for.
I offer 2 programs. The Expeditionist is my group program. I also offer an exclusive annual travel subscription by invitation which is for custom itineraries. I accept new clients who wish to have a custom trip planned however do require a meeting to understand the clients interests and expectations. Once the client returns from their first trip, If we are a fit, I will extend an invitation for my Annual Travel Subscription (limited).
My planning fees depends upon the complexity of the itinerary, rates from $250 per hour.
