I caught the travel bug in my early 20s when, straight out of college, I took a three-month road trip across the country, from New England to California. Mode of travel - a Ford Econoline van turned camper. Destination - Yosemite National Park with stops at all the national parks in between. What an adventure!

After retiring from my career as an educator, I spent eight years in the cruise travel industry and developed a passion for exploring new places and cultures. I have traveled extensively through Europe on both river and ocean cruises, often adding pre- and post-cruise land tours. To me, there's nothing more exciting as waking up to a new port and exploring all that destination has to offer.
