I am an experienced traveler and the chef-owner of AKASHA Restaurant in Culver City, CA. I have been traveling for both exploration and work for most of my adult life, and I have passionately led small-group culinary tours since 2017. Becoming a travel advisor has allowed me to combine my two greatest passions—food and travel!
Even before I began curating group tours, I meticulously researched destinations and crafted detailed day-by-day itineraries for every trip. My first food and wine tour was unofficially planned around a wedding in Tuscany, where we visited beekeepers, wineries, cheesemakers, farms, butchers, and bakers. That trip sparked a series of culinary adventures, including journeys tied to destination weddings, a journey to Bali for the opening of a chocolate factory, and explorations to Sardinia, Portugal, Ireland, Spain and more.
My official travel career truly took off with India. I had visited the country multiple times—climbing the Himalayas, spending time in temples as a yoga student, and even working as Michael Jackson’s private chef. But I wanted to curate the perfect luxury journey—a trip of a lifetime. I collaborated with an exceptional DMC and organized a trip; twelve friends signed up. That success led to a second India tour, followed by small group trips to Sicily, Emilia-Romagna, Morocco, and this spring, Ireland.
Both my personal and professional travels have taken me to over thirty-five countries. These globe-trotting adventures ultimately led me to fulfill my dream of becoming a travel advisor. I love crafting the perfect itinerary and journey for groups and individuals, sharing my passion for cuisine and culture, and creating unforgettable experiences.
