Cheryl B. Weldon

I had the privilege to travel internationally at an early age, 7 years old. Those early trips (in the late 60's and early 70's) taught me much more than any school lesson. Experiencing the history and culture of Europe and being exposed to the starkness of communist Russia (USSR) left an imprint. So much so, that I chose a career in travel after college and post graduate studies.

Early in my career, I worked for suppliers in the travel industry but in 2008, my dream job became a reality. I purchased a luxury travel agency, serving clients in the prestigious Atlanta Country Club community. I sold my agency (post Covid) to a large New York based agency but my passion for sharing my knowledge and expertise in travel remains.

I have two areas of focus: leading groups on 1) "Bucket List" cruise vacations and 2) hosting women-only trips. My brand, Women Can Lead Adventures, is the passion-project born out of my desire to help women feel completely comfortable exploring travel destinations and experiencing the culture first-hand.
