Hi! I'm excited that you found your way to me in your travel seeking journey! I've been a lover of travel since I was 15 and I took my first student trip to Europe - 7 countries in 30 days! I was truly awe-struck by the cultural differences within all of the small countries around the world - sometimes within just a few hundred miles of each other.
I fell in LOVE with Germany and promised myself I would make it back some day. Fast forward 15 years and I married a German national and we spend AS MUCH time as possible traveling abroad, not just to Germany but as many places as we can get to.
My favorite places so far:
Munich - I LOVE the culture, the food, the people. The city is just beautiful and very clean and safe. My favorite thing to do there is take a bike tour through the city, stopping along the way at the English Garden, and several beer gardens!
Mexico - We've done Cabo, Mayan Riviera, Puerto Vallarta/Nuevo Vallarta. I'm a resort girlie but certainly love adventure as well. I have seen the good and bad resorts around Mexico and would love to share those experiences!
ITALY! - Recently I was able to travel with a girl friend to see Italy - we spend time in a villa in Umbria, seeing tiny cobblestone villages, and took a cooking class in someones home. We went to Florence, where we visited the leather college to see where leather goods have been made since the 1950s, of course toured several museums, including the Accademia Gallery which houses the David. Then off to Rome for incredible food, history, wine. It's truly magical.
California - I live in San Diego and it's one of the most amazing places I have ever been. California has so much to offer and see - it's like many separate states in one. I have traveled extensively up and down the coast, spending time of course, here in San Diego, but also Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay area, and in between.
I have a love of cruising and am really passionate about river cruises. I think its a spectacular way to see a lot while never having to unpack your suitcase. The river cruises of today are not your parents cruises. They are luxurious without being tacky or over the top. They offer gourmet meals, excursions and spacious staterooms.
WOMENS TRIPS AND GROUPS - I realized I've reached an age where I want to travel but can't always ( or don't always want to) travel with my spouse and/or kids. I believe women are traveling more than ever - seeing the world, either solo or with their friends. I understand these discerning travelers because...well, I am one! I love putting these groups together and can customize a trip for your group - think wine club, yarn/textiles trips, ancestry, golf, culinary, spa and wellness - you name it - we can be as creative as you dare to be.
I look forward to the opportunity to chat with you and talk about your travel dreams! I'm available via phone or email and would love to get to know you. You can set up a no-obligation discovery call and see if we're a good fit!!
