Anjuli Bhatia

I was born in Canada and raised by the world. Part of a traveling family, I had lived in 4 countries spanning 3 continents and visited over 20 by age 18. A native speaker of both German and English, I moved to Vancouver from Germany in 2004, making it my home and base for further travels.

With degrees in Tourism Management and Economic Development and a passion for travel & tourism, I recognized the enormous impact tourism can have on a region as a positive economic driver, when done right: authentic and immersive experiences are not only immensely enriching to visitors, but also benefit the communities delivering them, promoting awareness, conservation and pride of local cultures and the natural world.

While I travel extensively internationally (my ongoing goal is to visit at least as many countries as my age) and regularly plan adventurous and gastronomic itineraries for myself, family & friends, I have been professionally planning extraordinary adventures to Canada for over a decade. From traversing this immense country by train on historic routes to remote luxury wilderness lodges, specialty wildlife viewing, Arctic expedition cruises, epic road trips, and multi-day kayaking and hiking adventures (to name a few), I've been there and done that. As your Canada Specialist, I'd be absolutely thrilled to work with you and use my extensive knowledge of what Canada has to offer as a high-end, and deeply authentic, destination to make your own adventure one for the books.
