I believe that travel is transformative and helps us all to be better citizens of the world. It's not only how we discover and experience a new place, it's how we discover and learn about ourselves.

I am a Virtuoso Travel Advisor specializing in luxury vacations and active/adventure travel. Prior to becoming an advisor, I worked for Backroads, the World's #1 Active Travel Company, for ten years as a tour leader, trip consultant, and Western US travel agency account manager. I escorted luxury biking and hiking itineraries all over the US, Europe, Central/South America, and Asia with a particular focus on high-end, unique experiences. I believe my attention to detail and desire to curate the perfect trip really shines through in the itineraries I plan for clients. On a personal note, I have traveled to 40+ countries, appreciate luxury hotels and experiences, and am trying to visit every national park in the US (I've been to 40 so far). When I'm not exploring new destinations to find the best properties and one-of-a-kind experiences, I teach bicycle safety and lead youth rides for the Marin County Bicycle Coalition. I love movies and enjoy camping adventures with my wife and our golden retriever, Murphy.
