Amanda Halacy

I grew up in the travel industry and was lucky enough to visit 5 continents by the time I began university. My favorite thing about travel is learning about other cultures, ways of life, wildlife, and history! This passion for adventure and education via travel was really cemented through two formative trips - visiting the Galapagos at age 8 and Kenya at age 16.

I have a degree in Global Development Studies, which led me to work in South Africa and Jordan. My studies and experience in the development and humanitarian sectors, paired with travel in the luxury industry has given me a unique perspective on less-traveled, "off the beaten path" destinations.
