Melissa Gaynor

Melissa began her career in advertising and after earning her M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, she worked in marketing at Citicorp and Colgate-Palmolive. While raising her children, Melissa became an advocate for books and the value of reading. She co-founded a children’s book recommendation website, spearheaded events to promote literacy, and worked at a very special independent bookstore.

A love of travel has been a consistent theme in Melissa’s life, and she is always ready to plan the next trip. Whether it’s a honeymoon trek through Thailand, Bali, and Hong Kong, a romantic getaway from Provence to Paris, or an adventurous trip to the Galapagos Islands with kids under the age of ten, Melissa’s goal is to create a unique and memorable experience. She seeks out exceptional destinations, loves to share her discoveries, and believes that a thoroughly researched, well-organized itinerary is the key to any successful journey. Some of her favorite destinations have included the Amalfi Coast, Croatia, Ecuador, Ireland, Israel, London, Napa, Paris, Provence, Portugal, Prague, Sonoma, and Tuscany.

Melissa has lived in Westchester, New York for more than twenty years with her husband and two children. When she’s not planning a trip, she’s reading, listening to podcasts, walking with friends, or playing football with her Australian Shepherd.
