Jane Stafford

Jane’s love of travel and exploration began with a family move to Japan as a teen where she traveled extensively throughout Asia during her 3 years living abroad. A history degree followed up with a 26 year career as an International flight attendant landed her in Hawaii where she met a naval flight officer who shared her passion for travel. 30 plus years and 2 adventurous kids later, they have visited 6 continents and over 80 countries and continue chasing their next adventures.

A passion for history and love of animals have been at the forefront of Jane's personal travels and have included seeing too many UNESCO World Heritage Sites to count, visits to animal rescues around the world and have included up-close experiences swimming with whale sharks in the Maldives, trekking gorillas and chimps in Rwanda as well as caring for elephants in India. Her insatiable curiosity and love of sharing the world with others have been the foundation of Plane Jane Travel.
