Ali M. Sardinas

Travel is my passion. I grew up staring at world maps and admiring its wonders. Since an early age, my sense of wanderlust started and I knew I wanted to venture to the Arctic and Antarctic regions and visit iconic places like Machu Picchu, Petra and the Galapagos Islands. My childhood dream was to become an astronaut. I became a civil engineer instead and have been fortunate to travel throughout the world. I enjoy traveling with my husband in adventure, expedition and sightseeing travels; together, we enjoy traveling to bridges and tunnels around the world and have visited the deepest underwater automobile tunnel and the longest automobile tunnel in the world (both in Norway, the Eiksundtunnelen and the Lærdaltunnelen), climbed the Sydney Harbor bridge, crossed the Øresund Strait bridge between Denmark and Sweden, and the Millau Viaduct in Southern France.
