When I graduated from college fifty years ago, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I went to work for a local travel agency that my father connected me to. The rest is history, as I fell in love with the industry; the travel, the constant changes, and the many contacts and friends I made, all while making travelers’ dreams come true. And, most importantly, the feeling of satisfaction when clients come home with fabulous memories telling me “You’re the best”!

After thirteen years as an agent, I decided to branch out and purchase a small reputable agency. That was the beginning of a thirty-two-year building span, leading to my agency ranking in the top twenty- five agencies in the international consortium we belonged to. My agency, Wayfarer Travel Service, booked a large portion of luxury travel. In addition to training new agents in my office, I also taught at a local travel school. Many of these agents are successful travel agents today. I’ve also been an invited guest speaker at colleges and many events.

My passion for cooking, lead me to arrange and lead many fun and interesting culinary groups traveling to Europe, the Mideast, and in the United States. I’ve personally traveled the world on cruise ships, riverboats, and tours learning about destinations, hotels, restaurants, world renowned and off the beaten track sites for my clients.

To this day, I am a travel agent enthusiast taking pride in my work and the satisfaction I bring to my clientele. Now serving a third generation of clients and their extended families, I have joined forces with Provident Travel, a founding member of Virtuoso. I have found the perfect home!
