Someone recently asked what my favorite travel moment was, and as expected, it was so hard to come up with just one, but this one kept coming to the forefront. I was leading a group through Umbria when the sunflowers were in full bloom. Throughout the ride we “oohed” and “ached” while contorting ourselves to take photos out of the bus window. Finally, the bus driver took it upon himself to pull over and let us take photos and play in the acres and acres of sunflowers. It was truly magical.

What travel destinations are on my bucket list? Istanbul was number one, but I just traveled to the fabulous country of Türkiye. Now, I'll have to move something else to the top!
