Joyce Bliss

My passion for the travel industry was sparked at the tender age of seven, when my parents bought a 30-room motel in the heart of Cape Cod. I “helped” fluffing pillows and emptying wastebaskets, but as I grew older, I had the opportunity to interact with our clients. I made their reservations, checked them in, and shared information – and my love - for what remains a special destination to me. Off season, we took thoughtfully planned trips including to my mother’s native home in Ireland. I was hooked.

My first job out of college was with an airline, and I remember the day I was upgraded to first class, that was my first introduction to luxury travel which I’ve happily pursued.

Over the years, my experience includes working at a ski resort, in a travel agency, in sales and marketing in car rental, and for tour operators with an international focus. My extensive business and personal travel have taken me throughout Europe, Asia, Latin America, Canada, and the Caribbean. However, having raised two sons, I’ve planned some, I must say, exceptional Disney vacations. Cruising is one of our family’s favorite vacation experiences, and a passion of mine. As I now live in Fort Lauderdale, I can keep up with all the cruise lines and ships.
