Having a former career traveling the world as an opera singer, I developed a passion for discovering secret corners of Europe. From the best restaurants to gaining private access to museums and opera houses it became impossible not to want to share my experiences with everyone. I also grew up traveling on ocean liners with my sister, Kara (the other Travel Sibling) and not only do we share a love for ships, but cruising became a great way for us to unpack once and share so many places I had discovered with her. It was during that time that we realized we had a lot of insider knowledge from our world travels that we could share. We wanted to make sure that others could taste the same gelato that we had or share a particular private guide that could get them into an off-limits location. That is how the The Travel Siblings came about. A little later on, Bridal had become our niche when prestigious wedding planners approached us to be on their teams to provide our first-hand expertise and insider travel tips to engaged couples. It was then that we started developing even deeper relationships in the wedding industry around the globe, including florists, caterers & confectioners and this inspired us to design couture destination weddings around the globe. Working with couples is undoubtedly our forte as now The Travel Siblings exclusively design honeymoons & weddings for The Bridal Registry at Bloomingdale’s in 26 stores across the US, servicing thousands of newly engaged couples.
