Lauren Kroger

Lauren believes in the transformative power of travel, whether that be through a multi-generational trip to a family’s ancestral home, interactions with an unfamiliar culture, or simply a newfound love of pistachio gelato. In her mind, there is nothing like the feeling of being “homesick” for a place where the language and customs are not yours, but your heart yearns to return all the same.

At a young age, Lauren developed a deep interest in connecting with other people and ways of life. She spent part of her college years living and working as an au pair in Milan before launching her first career in broadcast journalism. Eventually, she turned her love of exploring the world into a career with Huffman Travel. Now a member of the Virtuoso Adventure Travel Community, Lauren's specialty lies in designing luxury itineraries for the intrepid traveler. Some of her most cherished memories include climbing Israel's ancient fortress of Masada in time to catch the sunrise and watching lion clubs play as a newlywed in the Masai Mara.
