Camilla Catlin

Camilla comes to the travel industry after extensive luxury goods experience, including 14 years at Tiffany & Co. As the VP of Category Management, Camilla traveled extensively, visiting stores and getting to know the local client base. Once kids entered her picture, Camilla focused her travel-energies on introducing them to the world beyond New York City. Two years spent living in Paris was an education and gift for all, and Camilla made the most of their shift in geography by traveling extensively throughout Europe. When Camilla reluctantly returned home, friends were quick to seek out travel advice and destination ideas from her. They appreciated her ability to uncover under-the-radar places and authentic experiences which felt special, luxurious and personal. From there, what started as a casual hobby became the impetus for a career change. Camilla partnered with us as an independent contractor in September and launched her travel consultancy, Global Patina, soon after.

Camilla works with many high-end clients, primarily in New York City, California & London. Well-traveled and sophisticated, they are interested in authentic travel experiences with a high level of service. Most are in their 40s and 50s, with older children. Usually, they travel as a family in order to create memorable experiences together before their kids are grown up and on their own. Destinations with a balance of culture, outdoor activity, physical beauty and luxury are in high demand by this group.
