Vanessa Sawtell Jones

Vanessa Sawtell-Jones is the founder and owner for VSJ Custom Travel. She’s spent over 18 years in the travel industry working as a front-line advisor focusing on high-end leisure clientele in both Los Angeles and New York. Both of Vanessa’s parents worked in the travel industry, which sparked an early childhood interest in diverse cultures and experiences. In 2005, while attending Boston University, she studied Wildlife Conservation abroad in Kenya. That experience would serve as the catalyst for Vanessa to spend the entire year after her graduation backpacking around the world. Using that knowledge and experience, Vanessa embarked on a career following her passion, travel. Using her vast destination knowledge and unique perspective, Vanessa loves developing meaningful and transformative experiences for her clients. In her years in the industry, Vanessa has been named top 30 under 30 from Luxury Travel Advisor Magazine, was a founder of Millennials in Travel, was named a Four Seasons Top Producer and the 2017 SoCal ASTA Millennial Travel Advisor of the Year.
