Melanie Lake

Melanie has lived in the Dallas, Texas area all her life and didn’t even have a passport until she was 40! Her son’s 7th grade school trip to London and Paris lit the fire and, and several trips to Europe later, she is ready to inspire others to travel abroad! While her heart is in France, she has a broad knowledge of the best places in Europe for travel. In addition to planning trips for a wide range of clients, Melanie also enjoys creating special travel experiences for families of all ages.

A former attorney, Melanie spent 20 years raising three children with her husband, Chris. She has served as a volunteer in the community and in the schools and has used her law experience to help manage budgets and bylaws for non-profit community groups and Booster Clubs, most recently as the President of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Dallas Alumnae Association and President of the Highland Belles Booster Club. They are now “empty nesters,” and in addition to visiting her out-of-state kids Melanie loves her career that perfectly pairs with her passion for travel.
