I left the corporate world over 30 years ago to follow my absolute passion for travel and became a leisure travel consultant. I have been to 163 TCC countries and to all continents and US states. I have been to all European countries, Caribbean islands except Cuba, and am an Aussie and New Zealand specialist. I love Africa and have traveled there over 15 times. I go to Great Britain at least once a year to explore and London is my favorite city in the world. Although, I must say Barcelona and Bratislava are close in the running...

One other specialty is cruising - I have been on 53 river as well as ocean cruises. I also have been involved with adventure, ancestry, and history travel for many years.

I was one of the first travel agents to earn the new VTA certification from ASTA. I have my MBA from Stanford and my MLS from Rice. The only thing that approaches my passion for travel (besides my kids and beautiful granddaughters) is history. In fact, I am currently working remotely on a Masters in History from the University of Edinburgh and on my PhD in Genocide and Holocaust studies at Gratz College. My primary specialty is European history, especially the UK, and Holocaust/genocides, but I present at history symposiums on many topics and love to teach people where to go to make history come alive!
