Christian Sauleau

Bonjour! I'm Christian Sauleau, EVP of Sixth Star Travel. I was born in Angers, France and have spent my entire career in hospitality, the majority in the cruise industry. After spending 10 years on board vessels in Hotel Operations on Royal Viking Line, I transferred shore side as VP Hotel Operations. I met my wife, Jeannie on board Royal Viking Sky when she was just opening Cartier Travel in 1985. I was part of Silversea Cruises as EVP of Fleet Operations when they initiated the company in 1994, and rejoined later with over 15 years of service for the line. My career also includes Regent Seven Seas Cruises as EVP Fleet Operations as well as Crystal as SVP Operations and Guest Services. My responsibilities included overseeing Hotel, Marine, Technical Operations, Land program and development of itineraries, in addition to overseeing new ship building. Working closely with passengers, I understand the importance of customer service and attention to detail. It also gave me the opportunity to extensively travel throughout the world. Besides many world cruises, we've traveled throughout Europe, Africa, Middle East, South America, and Asia. Our last experience included Dubai and the desert, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos.
