Sherry Williams

My name is Sherry Williams. Like many of you, I am an enthusiastic traveler, always excited about visiting - or even revisiting - some of the world's most interesting destinations.

I am a lifetime resident of California, growing up in San Jose and now living in the Sacramento area. My wanderlust has taken me far from home, including travel around the world - twice. I have cruised, visiting all of the continents. My adventure to Antarctica was the highlight of 2019! In 2020, in March, I traveled to Luosto, Finland which is over the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights! I also have done many land tours with various tour operators as well as independent travel in various countries all over the world.

I'm going to Kenya and Uganda in 2025. It's going to be a wonderful adventure to do a gorilla trek! I will be able to update myself with the Kenyan safari as it's been quite a few years since I've been.

In 2026, my plans are to go to Mongolia. The Mongolian culture absolutely fascinates me and I want to be a part of it....just once.

The gorillas in Uganda have been calling my name for awhile. There is so much to see in the world, that I've put off doing some of the unusual adventures that I want to participate in, so 2025-26 will be my unusual travels. Anyone want to join me?
