Janice Liescheidt

I am a 30-year veteran of the travel industry—I started out working for airlines then corporate travel and even managed an agency at one time. I now lead the group department for Direct Travel in the Central Region. I personally match each of my discerning clients to the right destination, itinerary and experience—the latter often includes private tours that involve special access, to iconic places.

The volume of business I do with deluxe suppliers such as Four Seasons, Oberoi, Ritz Carlton, Above & Beyond, Wilderness Travel, Seabourn, Sea Dream, and Cunard which means that I have contacts who can “pull a magic rabbit out of a hat” just for my travelers.

The highlight of my career came In 2013 when I created a custom family vacation that took her clients around the world on private jet. This year I am working with a family of 16 travelling to Africa, Seychelles and Dubai.

I have seen most corners of the world with more than 92 countries and 6 continents along with countless ocean and river sailings. My favorite destinations are South Africa, India, China, Thailand, Egypt & Jordan. Next on my to do list is Antarctica, Galapagos and Iceland.
