My first career interest was in music and theater. I attended Arizona State University, where I received a Bachelor of Music in Music Theater and graduated Cum Laude. After graduating, I won first place in a talent show in Phoenix – and with the winnings, I purchased a plane ticket to audition in New York City...

My trip to New York was a success! I received a scholarship to do graduate studies at Manhattan School of Music. Eventually, I received a full scholarship to the American Opera Center at the Juilliard School of Music.

While in New York, I started working as a professional opera singer - and touring took me to many places. But after time I came to the realization I did not like living out of a suitcase. At the same time, I still loved vacation travel and exploring the world. So... I decided to pursue a new career!

My first 20 years of experience as a professional travel advisor came from working for the largest privately owned travel agency in the United States. I worked 10 years in Manhattan and 5 years in the Boston area. During that time, I received awards for outstanding sales and customer service and eventually became that agency’s top travel advisor in the Boston region. In 2004, my husband and I moved to Arizona where I continued my career in travel, becoming the top travel advisor for AAA Arizona in 2010.

Today, I am honored and delighted to be an Independent Affiliate of Travel Experts, Inc.

And - I am the proud owner of Excellent Vacations Travel Service. My agency is accredited with the Better Business Bureau and has an A+ rating.
