Whitney Shindelar

I grew up traveling around the United States, but it wasn't until I studied abroad during college that I made my way to a new country. A semester in New Zealand set me on a path to travel the world. Every vacation and opportunity to work or study thereafter took me to a new destination.

After living in France for one year, I began teaching English as a foreign language, which enabled me to share my love of languages while also traveling the world. This job quickly took me to China, where English teachers were in high demand. After three years in China, I began working for Starwood in Shanghai as a Director of Operational Excellence. This experience in hospitality ultimately led me to start my own business as a travel agent.

Truly experiencing a culture, through their language, their food, their customs and religions, is what brings a country to life. I spend a lot of time seeking out hotels, restaurants, and experiences that will make an impression in your life. I strive to ensure you learn something while you travel, be it about the history of the destination or about a new ingredient that you may not have encountered before.
