I started my career as a travel advisor in 2012. Two years later I sold my condo and possessions so I could travel the world. I spent the next three years hopping from country to country with 3 - 4 month stops to live in Turkey, Panama, Argentina, and Portugal.

Now, with more than 10 years of experience in the travel industry and having visited over 50 countries, I’ve amassed knowledge, experience, and connections beyond the ordinary. I've built exceptional relationships with Virtuoso suppliers and can give clients first-hand recommendations from my own adventure travel experiences around the world. A few of my favorites over the years have been:

• River Cruising with Ama Waterways on the Chobe River in Botswana and Namibia
• Exploring Nepal's Culture and historical sites in the Kathmandu Valley with B Corp Certified, Intrepid Travel
• Jeep riding through the desert and stargazing with local Bedouin guides in Wadi Rum, Jordan with G Adventures National Geographic Journey
• Visiting the Scorpion anti-poaching unit in Hwange National Park with Wilderness Safaris
• Trekking for Gorillas in Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda

Through extensive travels worldwide, my eyes have been opened to the positive and negative impacts of the tourism industry on the world. I’ve become increasingly passionate about sustainability and responsible travel. Out of that passion grew my current company, Love the Way You Travel – Authentic Adventures for Responsible Travellers.

We design and manage vacations from start to finish, weaving in authentic adventures and responsible experiences with companies that are having a positive impact on the people, places, and planet.

We choose the travel companies and hotels we work with carefully, looking at their commitment to responsible and sustainable travel. From 2021 to 2024 we funded the planting of trees and carbon offsets on behalf of our clients through Ecologi who is Gold Standard certified. We're currently working on a new program for 2025. And we reduce waste by providing paperless documents for client trips through a personalized trip app you can use on your phone or tablet.
