I've come a long way from Namibia in southern Africa, where I grew up. I've lived in five countries on four continents and lost count of places I've visited.

I go beyond the usual, and relish setting up details like dinner reservations in Istanbul, tee-times in Thailand and once even arranged for a birthday cake to be delivered to a camel-safari encampment in the middle of the desert in Rajasthan. I spent several years in the hotel industry I know where to find good hotels all over the globe, and provide out-of-the-ordinary concierge-style service.
