Growing up in a small North Carolina town, I came to one conclusion early: "I want to see the world.. all of it". And I have spent all of my life doing just that!

At age 19 I moved alone to Los Angeles, attended an accredited travel school, and then worked for Avis Rent-A-Car for 3 years, heading their international division. Then in 1977 I got my first job as a travel agent.

In 1987 I received the CTC (Certified Travel Consultant) designation which is a 3-4 year professional degree. I am an IATAN certified Luxury Travel agent and Caribbean agent.

I have had the honor to be chosen by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine as "Top Travel Specialist" for Mexico for 9 years. Many magazines have used my quotes or have written articles about me including Wall Street Journal, Travel Weekly Magazine, NY Times, and Forbes Traveler.com.

While working in travel in California, I fell in love with Mexico and began going there as often as possible, totaling well over 200 trips to date! Mexico has SO much more than just beautiful beaches. Visitors can enjoy history, art, gorgeous hotels, music, archaeological sites, world-class golf, ecological trips, incredible spas, 32 World Heritage sites, romantic getaways, family resorts, adventure, and fantastic food. Mexico’s history and culture are amazing!

But, Mexico is not all I know. I have travelled extensively through Europe, Hawaii, the Caribbean, Australia, South & Central America, Israel, Alaska – among many destinations.

If cruising is your thing, I am also a very experienced cruise agent (over 30 cruises on ocean liners and river cruises). I have been escorting groups all over the world for over 30 years, including destination weddings.
