Bruce Butler

After over 30 years as a management consultant and technology executive, Bruce shifted gears to follow his passion for travel, especially cycling and hiking along with river cruises in western Europe. He has traveled extensively, having visited France on over 30 occasions and cycled & hiked yearly for more than 20 years in France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Austria & the U. K.

Bruce’s cycling travel has ranged from leisurely cruising on hybrids down quiet French country lanes to climbing passes on road bikes in cycling-crazy Colombia to VIP spectating at major European cycling events. His hiking has also varied: enjoying spectacular Alpine vistas from mountain paths easily accessible via rail & mountain lifts, hiking interpretive historical routes and walking along coastal paths.

Of course, there’s more to life than cycling or hiking. As one who enjoys fine food & wine and appreciates architecture & art, Bruce can advise on a variety of rewarding itineraries in western Europe, Latin America & his native Canada.
