Kate Corey

Kate Corey founded Chicago based 6 Degrees in June 2014 after years in the travel industry learning from the best. For Kate, travel is not only a vocation but a lifelong passion and calling. It dates from her early days at an international preparatory school to her collegiate years spent roaming the globe; she ultimately traveled extensively throughout Europe, Africa and Asia before relocating to the United Kingdom for her post-graduate education.

Having lived in Seoul, Salzburg, Luxembourg, Edinburgh and Washington D.C., Kate is no stranger to the dynamic differences in cultures across the world. She brings to the travel industry a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics, a Master of Science degree in International Marketing and years of unparalleled experience and expertise. Kate was named to Travel Agent Magazine’s "35 under 30" in 2012 and serves as a member of Virtuoso’s Innovation Team.
