I’ve been traveling my entire life and bring a wealth of experience to my job as a travel advisor.

Originally from Germany, I grew up with Europe as my playground-- my family drove all over, every summer. I was a flight attendant for seven years and lived in Australia, the UK, and India while managing daily flights within Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and the Orient. Since 1983, I’ve lived in the U.S. and worked in travel coordination and advising, first in incentive and group travel and then focused on leisure travel. My husband, Chris, and I have owned our own travel business since 1993, first a full-service agency in Miami Beach, and as of 2003 together we started CKIM Group, Inc. in Sebastian, Florida. As of August 2021, we added ILX Travel with a focus on luxury travel. CKIM Group will continue to book yacht charters only. It is great fun to be able to share our passion with our clients. I especially enjoy planning unique adventure travels using the Virtuoso Adventure collection, helping clients experience such thrills as gorilla trekking in Uganda, biking through Tuscany, and climbing Kilimanjaro.

I am a certified wedding and honeymoon specialist and am an expert in planning destination weddings—I’ve planned everything from an elopement in South Africa to a wedding party of 80 in the British Virgin Islands. Thanks to our affiliation with Virtuoso, I am able to go “all out” with added extras that ensure that everyone’s happy.
