My Background
Growing up in The Netherlands, I traveled extensively throughout Europe. When I was offered a job at the Netherlands' Consulate in New York I embraced the option to experience life in the United States. Traveling around the country as a tourist as well as for business, I was struck by the immensity and beauty of my new home. I have always held an interest in exploring other areas of the world to discover the diversity in various cultures. This interest has led to a career of 28 years in the travel business. In the course of those years, I have been able to facilitate the travel plans of many clients and have furthered my knowledge by taking part in educational trips to numerous parts of the world. Recent travels that have been memorable have been to Argentina Costa Rica Turkey, Quebec, Scotland, Spain and various Caribbean islands.
